Creating My Local AI is a personal documentation of my journey to build a functioning AI system on my local computer—starting with zero coding experience. Inspired by the creation narrative in Genesis, this project became both a technical and symbolic process of forming order from chaos.
In this whitepaper and supporting presentation, I explore the selection of tools, the challenges of getting different platforms to communicate (like Ollama, and AnythingLLM), and how I eventually brought it all together using LM Studio. This work represents my first hands-on engagement with local AI infrastructure, and I hope it encourages others, especially non-coders, to dive into the world of AI experimentation.
